Abstract:The development of the supporting structure of the tube bundles of a heat exchanger was reviewed,and the influences of various supporting structures on the performance of the shell sides were analysed,some references were provided to optimize the tube and sheet heat exchangers and enhance the heat transfer of the shell sides.
