Analysis and Countermeasures on Bird Troubles of Transmission Line

Based on the operation and failure record data of Cangzhou power network,this article introduced the characteristics and processes of three kinds of bird troubles which are flashover caused by bird dropping,core exposure caused by bird pecking the silicon rubber sheds and housing of composite insulator and trip caused by birds nest on the tower of transmission line.And the prevention and bird-driving measures are putts up according to the different kind of bird troubles.
