Professional qualification is an effective system of each industry to protect life, health, security and public interests. But continuing education is an important factor of professional qualification. Geological exploration industry is a high investment, high risk, long cycle industries that need more industry integrity. Based on these factors, the paper describes that foreign continuing education system of professional geologists are continuing education objective, content, charging standard, supervision and management. Learning from the experience of other countries, the author hopes to geological industry of China to promote the sustained, healthy development.
