| Abstract: | The distribution,biological synthesis and transportation of polyphenolic compounds in tobacco and their effects on tobacco physiological metabolism and quality of tobacco leaves are reviewed.Furthermore,the factors in synthesis and accumulation of polyphenolic compounds are analysed. |
