Modification of process of utilization of BOF dust sludge in SGIS

This paper discusses the existing problems on the original for BOF dust sludge dehydration and the compressed dust lumps transferred to the sintering plant by truck for mixing with other materials in SGIS and by analyzing the obvious environmental and economic benefits gained after converting the original process into the duct transferring system, demonstrates that the modified process holds the advantages of less investment, lower operation costs, simplicity, practicality, advanced level and reliability in process etc. compared with the original one.
