Abstract:The use of 6 GHz as a spectrum for mobile broadband development is conducive to the sustainable and healthy development of the global 5 G industry. In order to meet the needs of the international mobile telecommunications(IMT) system in 6 GHz frequency band, it is necessary to investigate the spectrum coexistence of IMT and the co-frequency fixed-satellite(ground-to-air) service in the 6 GHz frequency band to protect the normal operation of the fixed-satellite(ground-to-air) service. Firstly, this paper analyzes the interference scenarios of the IMT system to the fixed-satellite(ground-to-air) service. Then, the aggregate interference of the IMT system to the satellite is calculated using the Monte Carlo simulation method. And finally, the interference situation is analyzed. The results show that there is no interference to long-term and short-term protection standards in both indoor and outdoor scenarios of intelligent manufacturing, and the use of the 6 GHz frequency band for IMT system can coexist with fixed-satellite(ground-to-space) service.
