| Abstract: | The paper introduces the method of determing the tooth number of gear in the machine tool speed changing systems according to gear ratio boundary comparing error. The method discussed in this paper is both practical and simple and convenient, and using the applicable gear number table of common gear ratio, better gear number plan can be elected form numerous gear plans. |
