Abstract:PE-HD/E-TMB blends was prepared using self-made toughening master batch E-TMB and PE-HD by means of thermal mechanical blending,and the effects of the ratio of matrix resin to elastomer(H/E) in E-TBM on the mechanical properties,MFR and the thermal stability of PE-HD/E-TMB were investigated.The results showed that when the elastomer content of PE-HD/E-TMB was 6.3%,the E-TMB made the toughness of PE-HD/E-TMB much higher than that of the pure PE-HD while the rigidity of PE-HD/E-TMB was also kept excellent.The influence of different H/E value on the mechanical properties of PE-HD/E-TMB was little.The MFR of the blends increased with the decrease of H/E value.The temperature of the thermal degradation of PE-HD/E-TMB was improved above 11.4℃ than that of pure PE-HD,and increased with the decrease of H/E value.
