Design and Research of Reliability in FIFO

FIFO(First In First Out)always used to cache data and to Absorb the phase and frequency offset between different clock domain in communication area,then ensure data transmit in security and reliably.Specific methods of this problem were presented by analyzing the critical factors which influent the reliability of synchronous FIFO and asynchronous FIFO.How to avoid metastability and how to generate empty and full flag correctly were described with emphasis.
