一种估计信号源方向的虚拟阵列方法

摘    要:对估计未知噪声背景中信号源波达方向的UN-ESPRIT算法采用虚拟插值阵列技术进行扩展,选择两个虚拟阵分别与两个实阵保持相同的信号子空间旋转不变性,在采用正则相关分析估计两个实阵信号子空间及其基的基础上,采用VIA-ESPRIT 技术实现了两个虚阵的信号子空间及其基的估计。简化了UN-ESPRIT算法所需的阵列结构,减少了原算法分辨信号源所需的最少传感器数。Monte Carlo 仿真验证了该扩展算法的有效性。

Abstract:UN ESPRIT 3] is an effective technique for estimating direction of arrival (DOA) in unknown noise environment. But it suffers from the following shortcomings: (1) It requires two identical arrays, each including two real shift invariant subarrays. (2) The number of sensor increases rapidly when the number of signals increases. We present a virtual array based technique to overcome these shortcomings. We use one real subarray in each of the two identical arrays, the other subarrays are interpolated by using virtual array technique. Compared with the existing UN ESPRIT, our approach requires simpler array structure and less sensors. Figs.1 through 3 give the simulation results. The dotted curves represent the performances of UN ESPRIT, the solid curves, that of our approach. They show that the performances of our approach are close to that of UN ESPRIT, but only half of the sensors are used in our approach.
