| Abstract: | Summary The unsteady flow of a viscous incompressible fluid between two porous co-axial circular cylinders is analysed when the outer cylinder is impulsively set into rotation. When there is radial inflow, vorticity is transferred from an unsteady boundary layer initially over the outer cylinder to a steady boundary layer over the inner cylinder.With 1 Figure |
