| Abstract: | From the existence and development of enterprises, the virtual enterprise is defined, and characters of the virtual enterprise and its difference from the traditional enterprise are analyzed. Basic operation conditions and modes of the virtual enterprise are described and the mainstream modes of the virtual enterprise in the 21st century are pointed out. |
