基于TL494的同步Buck变换器对比研究

摘    要:分析了传统非同步Buck变换器与同步Buck变换器的工作模态与导通情况,对两种变换器不同状态产生的损耗进行理论分析。在搭建仿真样机验证的指导下试制了两台基于TL494驱动的Buck变换器。在额定输入12 V电压的同时改变变换器的开关频率与输出电压及负载,比较不同工况下两种变换器的效率。结果表明,两种变换器最佳工作频率约在100 kHz,同步Buck在轻载模式下、非同步Buck重载模式下有着更好的表现。

A comparative Study of Synchronous Buck and Asynchronous Buck Converter

Abstract:This paper analyzes the operating mode and conduction of the traditional asynchronous Buck converter and the synchronous Buck converter,and theoretically analyzes the losses of the two types of converter in different states.Under the guidance of building simulation prototype validation,two TL494 driven Buck converters were trial-produced.Switching frequency,output voltage and load of the converter are changed at the rated input voltage of 12 V.The efficiency of the two converters is compared under different operating conditions.The results show that the optimal operating frequency of the two converters is about 100 kHz,and the synchronous Buck has better performance in the light load mode and the asynchronous Buck heavy load mode.
