Some Thoughts on Metrological Security Work for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19 Epidemic

This paper summarizes the measurement instruments invovled in preventing and controlling the COVID-19 epidemic,and the corresponding metrological technical specifications applicable to verifying,calibrating and testing these instruments to ensure their values.Revolving round the important role of metrological work in the prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic,this paper analyzes the technical support and value security effects of metrological work from the aspects of temperature checks,equipment disinfection,virus detection,clinical diagnosis,medical treatment and scientific research.It provides not only a solution for epidemic prevention and control units and medical treatment institutions to judge the accuracy and reliability of measurement results,but also necessary reference for metrologists and metrology technical institutions to establish relevant measurement standards for COVID-19 epidemic.
