Eine Feldbusarchitektur mit GPS-synchronisierten Zeitgebern

This article describes a fieldbus architecture in which the runtime performance remains predictable during the entire process. A dual ring bus system is used for delay measurement, in which two telegrams are transmitted on both channels in opposite directions. By additional Hamming encoding of the telegrams, error correction is possible without requiring repetition of transfer. Timer modules with an accuracy of 100 μs are used for synchronisation, which are fed by a GPS receiver (Global Positioning System).
