摘    要:以Curnow等效电路为依据,基于基尔霍夫电压和电流定理,获得了通用Curnow等效电路模型的色散、总阻抗的计算方法;从设计角度出发,根据色散和总阻抗计算方法,以实际结构为例,探讨了在保证整个工作带宽内,器件的工作频率和相速基本不变的情况下,腔体结构参数变化对总阻抗的影响,并以此为依据,对原有结构参数进行了优化,从而提出了一种可用于耦合腔行波管高频结构优化的方法。

Abstract:The high frequency structure of the coupled-cavity traveling wave tubes was modeled,calculated,optimized and redesigned.In the optimization,the formula,involving the dispersion and total impedance,were firstly derived with Kirchhoff′s laws of current and voltage on the basis of Curnow equivalent-circuit model;next,the impacts of the different structures on the total impedance of the TWT was evaluated,based on the formula of the dispersion and the total impedance,under the conditions of a fixed working frequency and a phase speed in the full band range;and finally,the conventional structure was optimized and redesigned.The possible application of the newly-developed optimization technique to the design of other coupled-cavity TWTs was also tentatively discussed.
