摘    要:阐述了微通道板(MCP)输出信噪比的概念内涵,提出了MCP输出信噪比测试的具体实现方法。设计了MCP噪声特性分析系统,该系统由真空系统、电子枪组件、高压电源系统、信号处理模块、数据采集和控制模块、计算机和测试软件等部件组成。利用热阴极组成面电子源,产生的面电子流作为输入信号,采用硬件滤波和软件数字滤波相结合的方法对MCP的输出电子流信号进行了处理,实现了MCP输出信噪比测试。利用该系统在不同测试条件下对MCP的输出信噪比进行了测试,并对测试结果进行了分析。

Abstract:We addressed the characteristics of the output signal-to-noise ratio of the micro-channel plate(MCP).The lab-built,computer automatized setup,dedicated to the evaluation of the characteristics of the output signal-to-noise(SNR) of the MCP,consists of a vacuum system,a surface electron source,a high voltage power supply,a signal processing module,data acquisition and control module,and the software.In the newly-developed testing technique,the hot cathode,used as the surface electron source,generates a surface electron stream to provide the input signal;next,the output electron stream of the MCP is processed with a combination of the hardware filter and the digital filter software;and finally,the output SNR of the MCP is evaluated.The output SNR of the MCP was tested under different conditions,and the tested results were tentatively discussed.
