Erosion resistance of thermal insulating materials in streams of ionized gases

A study is summed up that was concerned with the erosion resistance in a stream of ionized gases of a composite made up of a corundum matrix and polycrystalline Al₂O₃ fibers in comparison with a ceramic composite using an oxygen-free compound.
