| 摘 要： | 利用英文报刊教学不仅能够有效地促进学生的英语综合运用能力，而且能够提高学生的综合文化素质．以《21世纪英文报》为例，探讨了英文报刊阅读进高职第二课堂的作用和意义，认为高职英文报刊阅读要注重导读、注重引导和注重学生的自主学习，英文报刊阅读的教学要采取以学生为中心，以教师为引导的一种新型的英文报刊阅读教学模式．

| Abstract: | The second classroom is an important part of talent cultivation in higher vocational colleges. English newspaper reading can not only effectively promote students＇ integrated English skills but also improve students＇ comprehensive cultural quality. Taking the 21 st Century English newspaper for example, the advantages of English newspaper reading is discussed in this paper and some suggestions for English newspaper teaching are also put forward. |
