高灵敏闪烁室和氡气收集方法

摘    要:研究了一种容积为75ml的高灵敏的闪烁室,其探测效率~82%,本底计数率~0.09计数/min。研究提出了加温减压收集氡气的方法,从50ml射气管里收集氡气的回收率为99%。用该闪烁室和加温减压收集氡气的方法分析水中~(226)Ra,灵敏度可提高2—4倍,因而,在相同的测定条件下可明显地减少取样量。

Abstract:A high-sensitive scintillation chamber of 75 ml in volume with detection efficiency~82% and background counting rate~0.09 cpm has been developed. A method for collection of radon by heating and depressurizing is proposed and the recovery of radon collected from a 50ml bubbling tube reaches 99%. The content of 226Ra in environmental water is determined using the scintillation chamber and the method for collecting radon.In this way the analytical sensitivity of 226Ra can increase 2 to 4 times as compared with that of the conventional emanation-scintillation chamber method used at home recently, so the sample amount of environmental water for determining 226Ra can be considerably decreased in the same analytical conditions.
