| 摘 要： | 泉州是一个移民城市，其古塔的建筑风格，既深深烙下中原文化影响的痕迹，又凸现了比较鲜明、典型的地域特色。泉州古塔类型较多，基本上是由佛塔演变而来，建筑工艺始终受到地域文化、地理气候以及当时科学技术等条件的影响和制约。因此，研究泉州古塔的意义，不仅在于建筑学层面，同时也是探索和了解东方文明和中西文化日渐融汇的重要媒介。

| Abstract: | Quanzhou is a city of immigrants. The ancient pagodas/towers in Quanzhou not only em- body the Chinese central plain cultural features, but also involve distinct local features. The diversi- fied pagodas/towers in Quanzhou have evolved from the Buddhist pagodas （stupas）, the architec- tural technology of which has been influenced by the local culture, geology, climate and the existent scientific and technological conditions.
