Abstract:The Colombo Katunayake Expressway(CKE project) in Sri Lanka starts from New Kelani Bridge in Colombo,the capital city of Sri Lanka and ends up at Katunayake International Airport.The design grade of vehicle load is highway-class I and the designed speed is 80 km/h and 100 km/h.The subgrade width of this expressway varies from 26.0m to 33.5m.The expressway is 25.8 km long in the main trace,which consists of 4 interchanges and 39 bridges,95 box culverts.The project is designed and constructed in accordance wi...
