| Abstract: | An abrasion-resistant composite material based on titanium carbide is suggested for end seals of centrifugal pumps. Physicomechanical and service tests have shown the possibility of using it as facing and sealing materials and wear-resistant coatings instead of tungsten-bearing hard alloys. |
