| Abstract: | This paper conducts an investigation in fuel consumption reduction and mechanical load control of diesel engines by using the orthogonal design method. The applications of orthogonal design in reduction of experiment work and seeking of optimum schemes are described. The improved schemes for the test engine are presented. |
