| Abstract: | General packet radio service (GPRS) is a new non-voice value-added service, providing information transmission and receiving over the mobile telephone network.In this paper, the advantages and limitations of the user characteristics and the network performance of GPRS are discussed and the GPRS equipment suppliers and market distribution conditions are presented.Finally, the GPRS development mileage is predicted. |
