| Abstract: | The change in telecom network has brought about a new round ofgreat development of the optical fibre product market. Nonzero dispersion dis-placement single - mode fiber has been in wide use; the global market for optical connectors and optical cable components will grow to 3.8 billion US dollars by 2003; two - way, multiple - fiber connectors have become the fastest growth arena; the Ramaln amplifier (to be used in 10Gbps/ 40Gbps optical fiber net-works) , has become the hot development spot. This paper concludes with the characteristics of the optical product demands and production market in China, Russia and North America. |
