根据某500 kV运行中变电站自动化系统改造的工程实践，从技术要求、安全保障等方面进行研究，提出切实可行的技术改造方案和安全保障方案，形成了改造过渡阶段稳定可靠的运行模式。技术改造方案从系统硬件性能、通信网络结构、数据处理方式上提出了改进方法，现场安全保障方案从改造过渡阶段变电站自动化系统数据及间隔层五防逻辑的完整性上提出了技术保障方案，并在现场实施上提出了现场安全工程保障方案。
