| Abstract: | During the station commissioning test in November 2009 in Deyang converter station,two sets of differential protection on the HP3 filter acted when closing the switch.Given brief introduction of the characteristics of HP3 filter and its protection configuration,the reason caused the protection action was completely analyzed.The analysis result indicates that the fault is due to the low potential side of the filter low-end capacitor bank withstood overhigh transient voltage while the switch was closing,resul... |
