| Abstract: | A continuously tunable laser monolithically integrated with a semiconductor optical amplifier is reported. The chip is co-packaged with a frequency locker in a 26 pin butterfly module, and features over 40 mW of fibre-coupled power with an SMSR >37 dB on 34 ITU channels (50 GHz spacing) |
