| Abstract: | A theoretical and experimental study was conducted of the flow distribution characteristics of low mass flow in a vertical U junction parallel connected pipe system. Obtained were the distribution characteristics of gas phase and gas/liquid two phase mass flow rate as well as the flow pattern record of various branch pipes. Also analyzed is the effect of flow pattern in distribution headers on the flow distribution and the flow pattern in various branch pipes. |
