社会语言学对大学英语教学的启示

摘    要:文章首先简要介绍了社会语言学,然后着重从四个方面阐述了社会语言学对大学英语教学的启示:英语学习是否成功,在很大程度上取决于教师的态度和学生的认识;将文化教学与大学英语教学有机结合起来;大学英语教学的最终目的在于培养学生的交际能力:大学英语教学必须注重培养学生的语篇意识。

Abstract:This paper first simply introduces sociolinguistics.Then it expounds how sociolinguistics affects the college English teaching in China: teachers' and students' attitudes have a deep influence on the success in English learning,combine culture teaching with college English teaching,the purpose of college English teaching is to cultivate communicative competence and college English teaching must develop students' text consciousness.
