Abstract:The radiation polymerization of triethyltin methacrylate (TETM)was introduced in this paper, and the effect of temperature on the radiation polymeri-zation of TETM has been researched. The results show that both the radiation poly-merization rate of TETM and the molecular weight of poly (triethyltin methacrylate)(PTETM) increase as the polymerization temperature increases. The overall activationenergy for the rate of radiation-polymerization ER was determined to be 18.0 kJ.mol~(-1)and the overall activation for the degree of radiation polymnerization is 13.6 kJ.mol~(-1).the thermal preperties of PTETM have also been investigated.
