| Abstract: | This paper presents an analysis of the cognitive mechanism of humor comprehension from the perspective of conceptual integration.The understanding of humor requires readers to make an instant semantic construction,for which the conceptual blending theory provides a theoretical basis.The following examples expound the operational procedure of conceptual blending in the interpretation of humor. |
