| Abstract: | The large capacity GTO inverter drive system is most advanced technique of large capacity drive in the world. The principle features and application of this system were described, and the merit of the technique was also evaluated. Great technical and economic benefit were obtained by applying it to the main drive of rolling mills in Nippon Steel and Baosteel. |
