甘蔗新品种对比试验

用当地当家品种新台糖10号作对照品种，与巴西45号等4个新引进的品种进行对比试验，巴西45号从蔗茎产量，蔗糖分、单位面积蔗糖含量比其余4个品种均达到极显著的增产效果，其农艺综合性状均优于其它品种。表明巴西45号是一个难得的早熟高产高糖优良品种；新台糖22号，18号亦优于对照品种新台糖10号，但增产增糖达不到显著水平，应扩大试验示范，而新台糖23号因遇干旱后，萌芽出亩差，造成有效茎数少、产量低，应采取相应的措施加以克服，亦应继续进行试验，为推广应用提供依据。

Comparison Experiments on New Sugarcane Varieties

Using ROC 10, the local leading variety, as comparison, experiments were made on four newly-introduced varieties, including Brazil 45. The results indicated that Brazil 45 was an elite variety with early maturity higher output, higher sugar content. Both RUG 22 and ROC 18 were also finer than RUG 10, but the differences in cane-yield and sugar-yield did not reached the level of significance. So further experiments and demonstrations should be carried out. Owing to the dry weather, RUG 23 was bad at sprouting, which resulted in a smaller number of effective stems and a lower output. To spread ROC 23, we must improve it by proper means and make further experiments.
