阅读理解测试新题型

摘    要:当前中国学生英语应试能力和应用能力形成的极大反差越来越受到教育工作者的关注.为了通过改革测试手段来提高学生的实际应用能力、探索行之有效的教学方法,就阅读理解新题型——补充文章大纲——进行了初步的尝试。实验证明该题型具有一定的信度和效度,能够在一定程度上反映受测者的真实水平.与传统的测试手段比较,该题型能够反映受测者在阅读理解中存在的问题。

Abstract:The Chinese educators are having a growing concern about the emerging inconsistency between Chinese students high score in tests and low ability to use the language. An evaluation tool of learning testing has a backwash effect on teaching as well. Thus the testing tools should be reformed so that they may have a positive backwash on teaching. An alternative way of testing reading comprehension, i.e., completing the passage outline, was researched. The result of the experiment shows that the new item is of high reliability and validity. Compared with the traditional testing method, it may also reflect the cognitive process of the testees so it is helpful for the tester to diagnose the mistakes.
