| Abstract: | The accident with serious damage occurred in the radial gate at outlet of delivery tunnel of the Zihong Reservoir is introduced. Through analysis,the cause of accident is thought to be many sided,in all of design,installation and operation. In treatment,all the broken parts were replaced or adjusted according to a new design except the gate pivot and embed parts that are not destroyed.After the treatment,the radial gate has been running well for over ten years since 1987. |
