The author points out that during the design of new buildings in historical district, an architect should probe deep and express the cultural spirit concealed behind the form of traditional architecture, rather than simply imitating the style of it, as well as endeavor to make innovation on the basis of a profound understanding of the environment and basic factors of Architecture.
