| Abstract: | The causes of air bubble or foam in stock during papermaking are introduced. Higher gas content in the pulp has negative effect on paper machine runnability and final paper quality. Regarding to this, several methods to reduce gas content in the pulp are proposed, and some measurement devices of gas content in the pulp are also introduced. |
