Diamond coatings for increased wear resistance |

| Abstract: | Use of small particle sizes in wear coatings is discussed and the control that can be maintained of the size and shape of the particles is described. The physical properties of the diamond coating used and the effect of particle shape, particle concentration and operating temperature on its performance under test conditions are investigated and the results obtained for a range of applications are presented |
