Abstract:This paper applies a new method that differs from the traditional one: from concept to implementation. Taking a simple multiplication for example, it can be done on the MATLAB platform using Simulink, Embedded MATLAB and Real-Time Workshop products. Then hardware interface is inserted to the codes generated, and these codes are compiled and tested in the Proteus virtual hardware environment, getting the expected result. It has been proved that this method can not only significantly reduce the time for developing the embedded system, but also guarantee the reliability and efficiency of the codes.
