裂谷盆地仍是今后油气勘探的重要领域

目前我国各沉积盆地油气勘探程度已较高,而裂谷盆地仍具有较大的勘探潜力。裂谷盆地产生在大型张性断裂带中,且不同程度地断入地幔,一般都发生过火山活动,具有裂谷前、同裂谷和后裂谷沉积的特点,含油气性各有特点,但也存在一定的联系。裂谷盆地可分单一裂谷盆地、相对裂谷盆地、向背裂谷盆地、小型裂谷盆地、裂陷盆地及由裂谷盆地发展起来的大型陆相坳陷盆地,同时根据不同实例分析了这6类裂谷盆地的石油地质特点及其勘探潜力。

Riff Basin still Be Important Target for Oil and Gas Exploration in the Future

Chinese oil and gas exploration in the past five decades revealed that new breakthrough will be achieved as long as new progress is made in the idea and methods of exploration.While the degree of oil-gas exploration of sedimentary basins is high, there is stilt great potential of exploration in rift basins. The rift basin will be the target of exploration for oil and gas for its abundant resources and perfect petroleum system. It is generated from large-scale tension fault and breaks into the mantle variously.Then the volcanic activity occurred. Rift basin generally features in different sedimentary characteristics before rifting epoch, rifting epoch and after rifting epoch. It can be classified into six categories including single rift basin, opposite rift basin, support or opposite rift basin, minor rift basin, rift-depression basin and large continental depression basins developed from rift basin.Moreover, on the basis of analysis for different cases, it discusses the petroleum geological features of these six rift basins and their potential of next exploration.
