军用热电池钛合金壳体材料应用试验研究

摘    要:介绍了军用热电池的基本结构和工作原理,用钛合金材料制备了某型热电池的壳体,在不同条件下进行了放电试验.研究了相同条件下采用钛合金壳体和传统不锈钢壳体的2种热电池在质量、寿命以及比能量等方面的差别.采用钛合金作为热电池的壳体材料可明显提高热电池的比能量和寿命,钛合金是弹栽热电池理想的壳体材料.

Abstract:The basic construction and work principle of thermal battery were reviewed. A typical thermal battery was encased in a titanium alloy case and discharged under several conditions. The differences on weight, discharge lifetime and special energy between thermal batteries with titanium alloy case and stainless case under same conditions were compared. The experiment shows that the use of titanium alloy for the case material improves the discharge lifetime and the specific energy, and reduces the weight for the thermal battery. Titanium alloy is the perfect case material for thermal batteries equipped on ammunitions.
