| Abstract: | In this paper,we develop a task to task communication interface between IBM PC and Sun workstation, Which makes it possible to communicate between IBM PC and Sun workstation under the Ether hardware environment. First, we review TCP/IP protocals and PC - NFS software. Then, we discuss Unix communication function and how to implement non-transparent task to task communication by using PC-NFS software. At last, we give some examples of its implementation. |
