| Abstract: | The characteristics and production methods of biodiesel were reviewed. The reaction mechanism and different production techniques of transesterification were introduced mainly. Meanwhile, the advantages and disadvantages of each technique of transesterification were analyzed. In the end, the existent problems and research directions of biodiesel technology were pointed out in this paper. |
