| Abstract: | Combined with practical example in this paper the settlement and courtyard combination of the traditional fold houses in Shanxi are elaborated. The formation of this space combination style mainly depended upon the influences of natural conditions, social custom, patriarchal clan, etiquette system and other backgrounds. |
