| Abstract: | The arrangement of the runners on the hot-runner plate of the injection mould is introˉduced.The principles of both natural flow balance and rheological flow balance for design of the runner are described.These two principles can ensure proper shearing velocity and admissible pressure losses for the flow melt in the runners.The method for calculating the runner cross-section size in rheological flow balance is illustrated through an example. |
