Mixed-frequency channelized transceiver system based on microwave photonic technology

Abstract:In order to meet the requirements of radar and electronic jamming systems’RF front-ends for simultaneously detecting and processing ultra-wideband(UWB)and multi-frequency signals,this paper presents a design scheme of UWB mixed-frequency channelized transceiver system based on microwave photonic technology,which has been verified by experiments.The experimental results show that the system can achieve the generation and channelized reception of the high frequency UWB signals with frequency 11 GHz-15 GHz and instantaneous bandwidth 4 GHz,and that compared with the traditional RF scheme,the proposed scheme reduces the system complexity,which provides a new way of thinking to solve the contradiction between large instantaneous bandwidth and large dynamic of future electronic equipment,and also has important reference value in the design and implementation of integrated general electronic information platforms.
