Developmental Trend and Hot Events in Biochemical Industry in 21st Century

In this paper, the application situation, development and prospection of biotechnology in chemical industry in 21st century were depicted. Biotechnology will gradually become one of the leading industries in the 21st century and biochemical industry will be the top important. It will play a quite important role in solving the problems of resources and environment and the solutions of many problerms depend on it. The application situation, development direction, development trend and existing problems were analysed and especially the hot events with strong basis of technology and good market prospect were introduced in this paper to look forward to the glorious future of the biochemical industry.
