| Abstract: | Based on the difference between the thinking mode of English and Chinese, the issues of the focus of an English sentence are analyzed and investigated. Firstly, the feature of ＂branches-trunk structure＂ of an English sentence is analyzed, and then the causes and ways of expression of the structural focus and semantic focus of an English sentence are analyzed and investigated by using the contrast of English and Chinese. |
